Adam started a post on his blog of words that he could think of that Alyssa is saying. I added a few to his list, and then started a list of my own earlier this week. So here is a list of Alyssa's understandable/consistent vocabulary 1 month and 4 days shy of her 2nd birthday:
Mama/Mommy
Dada/Daddy
Joe
Lexi
Mine
Shoe
Go
Done
Ouch/Ouchie
Uh oh
Please
Bite
More
Elmo
Up
Down
Cheese
Cheers
Change
Baby
No
Fish
Pooh
Trash
Bumblebee (umblebee)
Hi
Bye/Bye-bye
Bubbles
See
And sentances:
Where go?
Here you go.
She's pretty good about repeating things if you ask her to, but those are the ones that she'll say pretty consistently or on her own. Man, she says more things than I thought.

Isn't it amazing? That's a huge vocabluary...my son is just now starting to bloom linguistically at 22ish months!
Another sentence: Got you!
She's sure got David beat. He says about 10 words, but mostly answers "OK" to everything whether or not he means it.
